NeonGecko is looking for an experienced Drupal developer to enhance, extend, and support custom modules for the aggregation, management and presentation of political data. We are close to launch on a new network of political websites with the goal of informing and enabling voters as well as building communities around political issues.

Job Responsibilites

Qualifications

I am a independent Drupal developer fairly new to the Seattle area and I have "hit the wall" with getting all my active projects completed.
I desperately need help with final themeing for two different sites. These are both confirmed active projects, and I am willing to pay very well if the right person can step in and help me out of a jam.

One is an ongoing site which has most of the theme work done, and which just requires the details to be taken care of for node display, search results, and general clean up. It is a Drupal 5.8 site with lots of modules, and a short deadline. All designs are in PSD, and it will not be complicated to finish, but it needs to get done soon.

The other is a pending project which will be built in Drupal 6 with CCK/Views/Panels and will need some fancy jquery UI work. This is the fun one! Again all designs will be done as PSD, and the timing is a bit easier to manage.

I prefer someone in the Seattle area, and I am most interested in talking to other independents or very small (i.e. 2 person) shops. I would also like to find one person/group to do both projects if possible. If this works out there will be more work in the future!

We redesigned our site about 6 months ago and have an in-house developer (me). However, we've decided we'd like to change our main page which requires some CSS work and some layout changes and automation. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or expertise at this point to try and make these changes confidently. I'm looking for a contractor (independent) to work with on tweaking our front page content area and perhaps a couple other small projects.

You should have sites to show, willing to work with a large organization, and okay working with me to make it happen before the school year.

Looking primarily for local developers but will consider others as well.

We have a simple site created using Drupal 4 (4.7 I believe but am not sure) and we are looking to upgrade to the latest stable Drupal release that plays well with CiviCRM. This is a contract position to just get us started and maybe give a crash course in basic uses of CiviCRM. This is an experiment to test and possibly implement in a larger international network of Drupal Websites.

An independent publisher - leader in the development of National Park content for 25 years - is seeking a qualified web developer to help create and maintain online features for our drupal web site and affiliated partner web sites.

Is anyone using Ubercart to calculate WA state sales tax? The new tax rules are very complex (you have to charge sales tax based on where in WA the item is shipped).

I have a potential client who will need a web site set up soon, and I'm trying to figure out whether I'll need to program up something from scratch, or if something exists. Any guidance will be much appreciated... I am at this time new to Ubercart...

Views Filters with Exposed Select Lists

Problem: Long lists in exposed filters require control key + multi-selects which are subject to keyboard errors.

Solution: Convert select lists to scrolled check box items for specific filters (not globally)

We have two classrooms that need some setup on Friday morning. It won't take long, but I'm hoping to have two folks who can manage the North Classroom ( rm 105 also called Small) and the South Classroom (rm 111, Large). We need to setup some tables and chairs in both. In addition, the small classroom is the "break" room. Coffee, water, and snacks need to be setup ASAP i.e. before 9:30 when folks are expected to arrive. The small room also needs butcher paper applied to the windows so a projector can be worthwhile. I'm bringing the paper and tape.

Any takers? Don't you feel like bossing people around for just a little bit? Then you can sit back and relax :)
